When I was very young my father would tell my brother and I stories of his own creation. Adlib! He’d come up with the main character and a world of dragons and magic, and every night he’d take us off on a different adventure.  As an adult, I now fully appreciate how magical that time with Dad was. It is a very great shame that he never committed any of them to paper (it was the 80s; very few people had a home computer).

Those who know me well, know that this week my father passed away very suddenly due to heart failure, having had a scare some fourteen years ago and survived due to a triple bypass operation. With this in mind, I have decided that  I will, at some point in the next eighteen months or so, be publishing some of these stories and donating all proceeds to the British Heart Foundation in Dad’s memory.

As such, I will be looking for illustrators to work with me on this project. If anybody would be at all interested in working with me on this project, please feel free to contact me.
