It’s certainly been a busy two and a half weeks.

My first batch of paperback copies arrived on Wednesday 7th February. I’ve donated a copy of my book to the local library because, at a time when local services are suffering cuts and can’t buy in new releases, it’s the least that any author can do to help. Our libraries are an important public service and, as authors, we have the power, if not the responsibility to help them. Haven’t we all benefited from them? This was my chance to give a bit back. and I intend to do the same for every title I put out.  I also donated a copy to my local Castello Lounge Book corner.

I’m pleading with readers to please, if you have read it, go to Amazon and Goodreads and leave a review.  It doesn’t have to be a 5 star one, but this makes a lot of difference to authors who are trying to promote their work. It tells them that their efforts are worthwhile, and they are not just shouting into the void. If you plan to read it in paperback in the next few weeks, please go to your local bookshop and ask for them to order it for you. Just doing this will make them aware it’s out there. I selected extended delivery so with any luck they shouldn’t have trouble finding it, but if you really can’t wait I still have four copies of my first batch available to be sent out tomorrow.

I have also set up an Amazon.com giveaway which I will keep you all posted about.
